7 Days in Santa Marta Jungle Trails, Hidden Beaches & Caribbean Vibes

This 7-day adventure gives you everything—jungle hikes, wild beaches, chilled-out surf towns, and vibrant city energy. It’s Colombia’s Caribbean coast, curated for explorers.

Day 1 – El Rodadero & Nightlife Arrive in Santa Marta and check into your beachfront hotel in El Rodadero. Ease into the trip with a beach walk, then head to Parque de los Novios for dinner, live music, and a taste of the local nightlife.

Day 2 – Beach Day

Spend your day relaxing at one of Santa Marta’s most accessible beaches: Inca Inca, Playa Blanca, or Playa Grande. Swim, enjoy calm Caribbean waters, and soak up the sun.

Day 3 – Tayrona National Park Spend the day hiking through Tayrona National Park. Follow jungle trails to hidden beaches like Cabo San Juan or Playa Brava, and spot wildlife along the way. After the adventure, head back to El Rodadero to unwind.

Day 4 – Minca: Chill, Coffee & Jungle Views

Head up to Minca and check into your jungle eco-lodge. Today’s all about taking it slow—start with yoga or a dip in the pool, then visit a coffee or cacao farm, and wrap it up watching the sun dip behind the mountains.

Day 5 – Minca: Waterfalls & Hikes

Lace up your shoes and hit the trails. Explore Marinka Falls, Pozo Azul, and maybe squeeze in a visit to a scenic lookout point. Fresh air, jungle vibes, and waterfall swims—this is Minca at its best.

Day 6 – Transfer to Palomino, check out, and head up the coast to Palomino, where the jungle meets the ocean. Settle into your beachfront hotel and explore the laid-back beach town. Chill in a hammock, walk the beach, or catch the sunset with a cocktail.

Day 7 – Palomino: Enjoy your whole day in Palomino. Go tubing down the river, try beachfront yoga, or relax under the sun. It’s all about slowing down and soaking it in.
