This 12-day itinerary brings you the best of Colombia’s north coast—from Cartagena’s historic charm and island escapes to Santa Marta’s beaches, Minca’s waterfalls, and La Guajira’s desert magic. Day 1 – Arrival in Cartagena & Walled City Walk

Touch down in Cartagena and settle into your premium hotel in the historic center. Spend the evening walking the iconic Walled City, discovering colorful streets, local boutiques, and rooftop bars. Wrap the night with cocktails and live music.

Day 2 – Private Rosario Islands Boat Tour

Sail away on a private boat to the Rosario Islands. Swim in crystal-clear waters, snorkel coral reefs, and visit up to three islands, including Isla Cholón, Isla Barú, and Isla Agua Azul. Gourmet lunch included. Return to Cartagena for a sunset dinner.

Day 3 – Travel to Santa Marta via Barranquilla

We will leave Cartagena in the morning and enjoy a scenic drive along Colombia’s Caribbean coast. On the way, stop in Barranquilla—the city of Shakira and one of Colombia’s cultural hubs. Visit her statue for a photo op, then stroll along the Malecón del Río, a modern waterfront promenade with stunning views of the Magdalena River. Afterward, continue on to Santa Marta, where you’ll check into your beachfront hotel in El Rodadero. End the day with a seaside walk or dinner at one of the city’s top-rated restaurants.

Day 4 – Beach Day in Santa Marta

Spend a laid-back day at one of Santa Marta’s most beautiful nearby beaches—Playa Blanca, Inca Inca, or Playa Grande. Expect calm waters, fresh seafood, and plenty of sun.

Day 5 – Minca: Jungle Views, Yoga & Coffee
